October Infectious Disease Preparedness Series
October Infectious Disease Preparedness Series for Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facilities, & Other Healthcare Organizations
Join CHUG this October for a three-part Infectious Disease Preparedness Series designed to help organizations prepare for, respond to, and recover from an infectious disease outbreak within the community. Attend one event or join us for all three!
October 8 | Infectious Disease Workshop
10:00 AM–11:30 AM Central
The Infectious Disease Workshop will assist participants in gaining knowledge on planning for, responding to, and recovering from an infectious disease incident within their organization.
October 15 | Infectious Disease Tabletop Exercise
10:00 AM–12:00 PM Central
An Infectious Disease Tabletop Exercise (TTX) is a discussion-based simulation that allows key personnel to practice responding to a hypothetical outbreak, test plans and communication, identify gaps, and strengthen response procedures in a low-stress environment.
October 29 | Infectious Disease Full-Scale Exercise
10:00 AM–1:00 PM Central
The Infectious Disease Full-Scale Exercise is a realistic, hands-on emergency drill that tests personnel, resources, communication, and coordination across organizations. Participants respond to a simulated infectious disease incident to identify gaps and strengthen overall response capabilities.
Members can visit the Member Portal for more details and to register.
