The National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovation is pushing back on CMS, arguing that the proposed 2.4% payment rate increase for FY 2027 fails to keep pace with rising care costs, a competitive labor market, and inflation - leaving nonprofit providers stretched dangerously thin while caring for some of the most vulnerable patients.
