NFPA Hosted Wildfire Preparedness Day - Here's What You Need to Know

The first Saturday of May was Wildfire Preparedness Day, and here at CHUG, we believe the findings couldn't be more important for the communities we serve. The NFPA worked hard to help communities prepare, and the message is clear: there are simple things you can do in an afternoon or over a weekend that research shows will help your home or facility survive a wildfire.

"There are simple actions that individuals and communities can take that research shows will help homes and other buildings survive a wildfire." - NFPA

Wildfires across the United States have cost more than 200 lives and more than $45 billion in property losses in just the last few years. That's why CHUG is committed to making sure the people and organizations we work with have the resources they need to stay safe. Taking steps to improve wildfire safety in your home and community has never been more critical.
