Help our Seniors Celebrate Valentine's Day with CHUG

Your thoughtfulness could make a big difference to our community.

This February, we’re inviting you to take part in a simple, meaningful outreach that helps our seniors feel love, connection, and community.

Inspired by Cupid Crew, a nationwide initiative led by Wish of a Lifetime from AARP, this effort is designed to remind older adults that they are seen, valued, and cared for.

We felt this was a natural extension of the heart behind CHUG, our partnerships, and the work you personally do every day.

To make participation easy for busy healthcare teams, CHUG is coordinating a digital version of this initiative for our members, their families, and friends.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Download & print the Valentine PDF provided

  2. Fold it along the dotted line, so it is in half

  3. Write a personal, inspirational, or loving message inside

  4. Scan the completed card flat and unfolded

  5. Email it to: valentines.forseniors@chugteam.org


No physical mailing is required.

CHUG will collect the submitted cards and redistribute them to members via email, who can then share them with seniors in their care or in their communities for Valentine’s Day.

This initiative is meant to be:

  • Easy to participate in

  • Family-friendly

  • Flexible for healthcare settings

  • Centered in kindness and human connection
