Upcoming March Workshops: Workplace Violence & Active Threat Preparedness
Upcoming March Workshops: Workplace Violence & Active Threat Preparedness
Preparedness in long-term care isn’t a one-time checklist; it’s an ongoing commitment to protecting residents, staff, and operations.
That’s why we’re focused on helping skilled nursing and long-term care facilities strengthen their response capabilities through practical, scenario-based training designed specifically for their environment.
In March, we’re hosting our Workplace Violence & Active Intruder Preparedness Series, featuring an Active Shooter/Intruder Workshop and Full-Scale Exercise, as well as a Workplace Violence Tabletop Exercise.
The Active Shooter/Intruder Workshop and Full-Scale Exercise offer guidance on preparing for, responding to, and recovering from an active intruder incident.
The Workplace Violence Tabletop Exercise is a discussion-based simulation in which key personnel walk through hypothetical crisis scenarios in a low-stress setting to test plans, clarify roles, and improve communication.
These events are designed to help long-term care facilities strengthen emergency response, support compliance efforts, and stay prepared for evolving risks.
